Disney Genie+ is changing in some very big ways on July 24th, 2024.

Genie+ is a paid service that reduces your wait times for attractions at Disney World and at Disneyland Resort. You buy Genie+ in the My Disney Experience App, and it allows you to book windows to ride your favorite ride using the Lightning Lane — which has shorter waits than the typical standby lines. In addition, you can buy Individual Lightning Lanes for certain rides — where you pay to book a specific window to ride that one ride (there’s a list of those “individual” rides right here). Today, we’ve learned of a BIG CHANGE coming to Disney Genie+!

Just when we thought we had gotten the hang of this whole Genie+ thing, Disney goes and switches things up on us!

We knew that the service was due for an update based on what Disney has said in the past, we just didn’t know when. Disney shared that we’d soon have a way to plan Lightning Lanes ahead of time — before even stepping foot in the parks — and now we have an update on those changes!

Getting Oogie Boogie Bash tickets was an adventure.

Disneyland Resort’s Oogie Boogie Bash —the resort’s premier Halloween event — begins on August 25th this year and transforms Disneyland into a spooky party. Tickets went on sale for some Magic Key holders today (June 25th), but getting them was not a smooth process! Several dates SOLD OUT incredibly quickly.

Heads up! NEW Stanley water bottle colors just dropped on Amazon, and they’re PERFECT for summer!
